The Chinese Association of Southampton (CAS) is delighted to announce that our next Guzheng Chinese Music class will start on Saturday 10/6/2023 at 5pm for adults and 6pm for beginners.
The Guzheng, also known as the Chinese zither, is a Chinese plucked string instrument with a history of over 2,500 years. It has a light timbre, broad range and strong expressive power, which is deeply loved by Chinese people throughout the history. Our Guzheng teacher Ms. Jingyi Wang is an award-winning professional Guzheng teacher, who has started learning Guzheng from a young age of 6.
The discounted fee for attending this 6-session class is: £48 (for non-member of CAS), £36 (for member of CAS age under 70), £30 (for member of CAS aged 70 and above).
Instrument is not provided but can be bought from our teacher.
